Lisette Oropesa, Winner of the Third Prize in Operalia 2007, released her new all Zarzuela album “Mis amores son las flores” featuring works by Lecuona, Barbieri, Vives, Giménez, Penella, Luna, Sorozábal, Chapí, Torroba, and Roig.

On the album, Lisette Oropesa is joined by the Orquesta Titular del Teatro Real and Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid, conducted by Oliver Díaz.

“I am deeply honored to present these works, which represent my own identity.  Not only is it beautiful and fun to listen to, but it is truly operatic in scope” says Oropesa, adding that her goal in releasing “this unique group of Spanish and Cuban arias is to shed light on this impressive repertoire, so that it can continue to be heard and appreciated by future generations.”
