Emily D’Angelo’s new album: “Freezing”

Emily D’Angelo, Winner of the First, Birgit Nilsson, Zarzuela and Audience Prizes in Operalia 2018, released her new album “Freezing”, featuring 17 songs drawn from folk tradition, art song and beyond, joined by Sophia Muñoz (piano), Bruno Helstroffer (electric guitar) and Jonas Niederstadt (bass guitar, synth, percussion) on thirteen of the album tracks.
“On some level this album is about getting out of the way and allowing the songs to speak for themselves, while highlighting how music evolves and changes over time,” explains D’Angelo.
